Founded in 1969 as Radiology Associates of Atlanta (RAA), Piedmont Radiology was established to be the exclusive provider of radiology services at Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital; a relationship that continues to thrive more than a quarter of a century later. 

Today, we’re also proud to provide our imaging and interventional expertise and experience to patients at Piedmont Hospital’s Doris Shaheen Breast Health Center, Piedmont Fayette Hospital, Fayette Medical Clinic, Piedmont Howell Mill Imaging, and Shepherd Center. 

Our 25 highly sub-specialized radiologists provide expert services across the full spectrum of radiology, ensuring that patients are served by radiologists dedicated to – and specially trained in – the specific type of imaging ordered by their physicians. 

All Piedmont Radiology radiologists are board-certified, with most having received additional sub-specialty certifications. Many have been on staff at such prestigious medical schools as Harvard, Emory and Indiana Universities.
