BIOGRAPHY 

Dr. Reynolds joined Piedmont Radiology in 2002 after more than a decade-long practice in Academic Radiology at Indiana University School of Medicine where he held the titles of Associate Professor of Radiology and Chief of Breast Radiology. He has made significant contributions to the field of Breast Radiology having presented over 50 invited lectures and workshops at national and international professional conferences, published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals and co-authored 3 book chapters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology [ http://acr.org ], a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging [http://sbi-online.org ] and a member of numerous other medical professional organizations. He is currently the site Principal Investigator for the American College of Radiology Imaging Network’s protocol 6666 [ACRIN 6666; http://acrin.org ] which is a research trial examining the usefulness of ultrasound, in addition to mammography, in patient who are at high risk for breast cancer and who also have dense breasts. This trial will run through 2008.
