Dr. Coursey-Prah has been providing radiology services to Fayette County, since 1987 when she moved here from California with her husband and two young sons.  At that time she provided the only available radiology services in Fayette County at Fayette Medical Clinic.  Available medical services to Fayette County have grown tremendously since that time.  In 2001, she joined Radiology Associates of Atlanta in providing quality radiology services through Fayette Community Hospital , which is now Piedmont Fayette Hospital .  Early detection of breast cancer has always been her specialty and main interest.  She is currently serving as Lead Mammographer of Piedmont Fayette Women’s Imaging Center and she spends the majority of her time in the search for and diagnosis of breast cancer.

Now that her children are grown, she spends her free time quilting.  She was honored in 2004 to have a CANCER SURVIVOR quilt that she donated to the American Cancer Society purchased at auction by Piedmont Fayette Hospital .  It currently hangs in the reception area of the Piedmont Fayette Women’s Imaging Center .  She hopes that it is a daily reminder to everyone who sees it that surviving cancer is possible.
